Separation
Your absence has gone through me
Like thread through a needle.
Everything I do is stitched with its color.
I realize I am closer to 50 than I am to 20. How can I be so old but still feel so not old. But not young. I’ve recently been feeling more confident in myself and wish I had felt that when I was younger.
It makes me sad for lost time.

My earliest human memory is sometime in 1974 or 75. I was either 2 or three and my mom, dad, and I lived in a trailer in Charleston, IL. I remember filling the bath tub with water, adding my baby dolls and then locking the doors from INSIDE the bathroom then closing them on my way out.
The trailer flooded.
really happy about my Cuckoo Clock getting fixed. I love the soothing sound…tick, tick, tick, tick.
It reminds me of being a little girl, trying to go to sleep at my Great Grandpa’s house. It was a special Christmas when my mom and dad got the clock for me and I was very upset about the pieces being thrown away.
Thank you, Shannon.
JEANS WASHED!!!! I NEED MY WORK CLOTHES WASHED!!! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!?
the difference that a positive Customer Service experience can make! I spent part of an hour on the phone this afternoon with AT&T. When the gentleman tried to help and I explained that I wasn’t in front of my TV, he made arrangements to call me later after I got home. And guess what…. HE ACTUALLY CALLED. He waited patiently as we went through all of the necessary steps. My television is now fixed! Richard, at AT&T, I LOVE YOU!
Richard made a difference in my life because he fixed my TV. It was more than that. He followed through. Something that most Customer Service people fail to do.
Richard may not love his job but he is really &^%$# good at it!
Everyday posting failed on day 3!
I will make up for it with two posts today. And this one does NOT count.
